In the morning, I am off on holiday to Tenerife for two weeks. It is supposed to be a relaxing family holiday, but for me, it's working in a different setting. First of all, I have the photographs from The Blind Tiger Burlesque and the Marseille gig to sort through. Then I want to get some good shots of Tenerife since all my experience so far is in gig photography.
Writing is my major task though. I've been in a five-month slump with my creative output, and I think the change of scenery is exactly what I need. So yes, working in the sun for me!
When I return, that's when the relaxing begins, for I am home but a day before I go swanning off to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Nothing says 'relaxation' to me more than stand-up comedy. And my abdominals can get a good work-out from all the laughing. Then I'll have my birthday. August is a good month for me. Come September though, I shall return to job hunting and starting my new photography course.
